The winding mountain passes lined with endless stretches of golden wild sunflowers are the highlight of Da Lat and its surrounding areas this November. If it's your first time visiting, besides the wild sunflowers, you can also have many other interesting experiences.

Lang Biang Mountain

Lang Biang Mountain is located 12 km from the center of Da Lat, in Lac Duong town. The peak of Lang Biang is 2,167 meters above sea level, boasting pristine, majestic forests and vegetation that changes with altitude.

You buy a jeep ride up the mountain for 50,000 VND per person for a round trip. From the mountaintop, you can gaze in all directions and admire the majestic beauty of this land of love.

Built between 1931 and 1942, the church is one of Da Lat's most iconic and oldest architectural landmarks. It measures 65 meters in length, 14 meters in width, and has a bell tower 47 meters high. A rooster is mounted on top of the bell tower. From this height, the entire city is visible from the tower. The main entrance faces Lang Biang Mountain. The roof is decorated with 70 stained glass panels made in France, adding to the church's mystical atmosphere and reflecting the architectural style of medieval European churches.

Mai Anh Church

Built between 1930 and 1943, Mai Anh Church, also known as Domaine de Marie, sits atop a hill adorned with cherry blossom trees. It's a harmonious blend of Western and traditional ethnic minority architecture from the Central Highlands. Because only pink lime paint was used on the walls, the church shines brightly in the sunlight.

Da Lat Train Station

With its unique architecture featuring three triangular peaks modeled after the majestic beauty of Lang Biang mountain, Da Lat railway station is currently the only railway station recognized as a national historical and cultural relic.

After taking photos and sightseeing, tourists usually go to the station to buy tickets to experience the only train ride to Trai Mat, which is about 7 km long. The ticket price is 30,000 VND per person.

Da Lat Teacher Training College

Located at 29 Yersin Street, Da Lat Teacher Training College is distinguished by its arc-shaped design embracing the schoolyard, along with a tall, straight bell tower reaching towards the sky. Furthermore, the school is impressive because the entire building is clad in brick, with a dark green slate tile roof.

Cau Dat Tea Hill

Cau Dat is located 22 km southeast of Da Lat city center. Take Tran Hung Dao - Hung Vuong road, then onto National Highway 20 and follow the signs to Trai Mat, driving straight to Xuan Truong village. This area is associated with families who have been cultivating tea for generations, creating the renowned Cau Dat tea brand.

You should arrive here before 6 am to capture the beautiful moments of clouds floating above the lush green tea hills. As the sun rises, the fresh green tea buds stretch out to greet the sunlight, and the endless tea hills become more clearly visible.

Datanla Waterfall

Located about 10 km from the center of Da Lat and on the Prenn Pass, Datanla Waterfall appears both majestic and romantic. The waterfall complex consists of 7 different tiers, with water flowing gently in some places, trickling like a small stream in others, or rushing and roaring from high cliffs down into the abyss… The waterfall attracts tourists with adventurous activities such as conquering the cliffs and rappelling down the waterfall…

Forest Inn

To reach this guesthouse nestled deep in the mountains, surrounded by pine forests and streams, you travel along rough, rocky dirt roads 25 km from the center of Da Lat towards Suoi Vang. The owner is a romantic soul who appreciates natural beauty, so he has created fish ponds, ornamental plants, wooden houses, and more.

You can visit and take photos for free. They sell drinks and serve meals with a distinct mountain flavor, such as grilled meat and rice wine. If you're traveling in a group and want to stay overnight in the charming purple houses, please contact them in advance. The overnight stay costs around 100,000 VND per person. Campfires and BBQ parties are also available for 150,000 VND per person.

Da Lat Night Market

As a bustling hub, Da Lat night market becomes a popular destination for tourists who enjoy shopping for clothes and exploring local cuisine. The night market mainly sells grilled food, soy milk, sweet soups, and Da Lat specialties such as strawberries, jams, and artichoke flowers, perfect for souvenirs.

Grilled rice paper rolls can be found at Da Lat market, or on Nguyen Van Troi street, at the intersection of Hoang Dieu and Tran Nhat Duat streets, etc., for 10,000 - 15,000 VND each. Nem Ba Hung (fermented pork sausage) can be found on Phan Dinh Phung street and Chi Lang market, with a serving for one person costing around 30,000 VND.
