Da Nang records 7 new cases of Covid-19

On the afternoon of August 25, the Ministry of Health informed about new cases: 7 cases (BN1023-1029) recorded in Da Nang. Specifically:

- CASE 1023 (BN1023): Male, 20 years old, Hoa Tien, Hoa Vang, Da Nang.

- CASE 1024 (BN1024): Female, 16 years old, Hoa Tien, Hoa Vang, Da Nang.

BN1023-1024 had samples taken on August 24, 2020 in the locked-down area of ​​Hoa Tien ward, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city.

- CASE 1025 (BN1025): Male, 70 years old, My An, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang.

- CASE 1026 (BN1026): Female, 21 years old, My An, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang.

- CASE 1027 (BN1027): Male, 43 years old, My An, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang.

- CASE 1028 (BN1028): Female, 20 years old, My An, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang.

- CASE 1029 (BN1029): Female, 46 years old, My An, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang.
BN1025-1029 are family members and have contact with BN1017.

Currently, all patients are isolated and treated at Hoa Vang Field Hospital.

Total number of close contacts and people entering from epidemic areas being monitored for health (quarantined): 71,821, of which:

- Concentrated isolation at hospital: 1,963

- Centralized quarantine at other facilities: 20,237

- Isolation at home, place of residence: 49,621

According to the report of the Treatment Subcommittee, National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, on August 25, 4 patients were announced to be cured, including:

+ 2 patients at Hoa Vang Field Hospital: Patient 468, Patient 919

+ Patient 566 at Thai Binh Provincial General Hospital

+ Patient 787 at Binh Son District Medical Center, Quang Ngai province.

- Number of cases negative for SARS-CoV-2:

+ 1st time: 52

+ 2nd time: 67

+ 3rd time: 37

- Number of deaths: 27 cases.

- Number of cured cases: 592 cases.

As of 6 p.m. on August 25, Vietnam had 687 Covid-19 cases due to domestic infections, of which the number of new cases related to Da Nang from July 25 to now is 547. The total number of domestic cases and imported cases is 1,029 patients./.
