Da Nang will hold a meeting to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Xuan Anh

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Anh's position is one of the issues discussed to be presented at the extraordinary meeting.

Speaking with VietNamNet this afternoon, Mr. Nguyen Nho Trung, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Council, said that the meeting is scheduled to take place on November 24.

Mr. Trung said that this is an extraordinary meeting to discuss personnel matters. The City People's Council has issued a notice to summon delegates. The schedule of this meeting has also been posted on the Da Nang City electronic information portal.

Regarding the position of Chairman of the Da Nang People's Council currently held by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Anh, Mr. Nguyen Nho Trung said that this is also being discussed by the Standing Committee of the People's Council to be presented at the meeting.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Anh was elected Chairman of the People's Council of Da Nang City from June 2016 to replace Mr. Tran Tho.

The extraordinary session is expected to find a moderator for the 5th session of the Da Nang People's Council for the 2016-2021 term, taking place from December 5-7.

Previously, in the program of the People's Council with voters on November 14, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Anh was absent. The reason was that he had family matters and had submitted a request for temporary leave. Mr. Nguyen Nho Trung chaired this program.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Anh has held the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Da Nang City since June 2016.
