Da Nang offers $75,000 prize for landscape planning ideas on Han River bank

Recently, the People's Committee of Da Nang City announced the competition for 'Landscape Planning and Design Ideas for both banks of the Han River'.

This is an international design competition that the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction of Da Nang City as the investor, and invited the National Institute of Architecture - Ministry of Construction as the consulting unit to organize the competition, with the sponsorship of the Vietnam Association of Architects.

According to the Department of Construction of Da Nang City, the competition aims to find overall ideas for developing riverside landscapes and detailed landscape design solutions for the central area of ​​the city to bring new vitality to the river, contributing to enhancing the brand of Da Nang, aiming at the core values ​​of a city in harmony with nature, environmentally friendly, with good quality of life, rich in economic and cultural vitality.

The competition will be judged by experts from the Professional Advisory Council and the Selection Council, the most prestigious in the country and internationally. The total value of the prize, according to the Department of Construction of Da Nang City, is up to 75,000 USD. Currently, Da Nang City hopes to attract a large number of prestigious and capable domestic and foreign design consulting organizations in the field of planning and landscape design to participate in this competition.
