Playing football in prison, star Carlos Tevez suffered a serious injury
Veteran Argentine star Carlos Tevez will be out for at least a month after sustaining an injury while playing a football match with prisoners last Wednesday.
It was a streetball match taking place at Bouwer Prison – one of the most heavily guarded detention facilities in Cordoba province, Argentina.
Tevez was in the prison to visit his half-brother, Juan Alberto Martinez, who is serving a 16-year sentence for armed robbery and impersonating a police officer.
Having long admired Carlos Tevez, the "big" prisoners at Bouwer asked him to play a street football match. It was unclear whether the "big brothers" were too strong, or the former Man United and Man City striker was too nervous to dodge the blows, but in the end, he limped off the field due to injury.

Boca just recruited Tevez in January this year after the 34-year-old star ended nearly 2 years of playing "in a relaxing" life in China for Shanghai Shenhua.
Since returning to his first team, Tevez has made almost no outstanding contributions. He has only played 11 matches, scored 3 goals and is still trying to find a common voice with his teammates.
