Falling rocks kill 3-year-old child while playing in apartment yard in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - A 3-year-old boy was taken by his mother to the apartment building's yard to play when a rock fell on him and killed him.

The above information was confirmed by Mr. Ha Thai Son - Chairman of Quang Trung Ward People's Committee, Vinh City to reporters on the evening of December 25.
According to Mr. Son, the incident happened at around 5:30 p.m. on December 25 at the Lotus apartment building. The child was taken to the playground by his mother, a resident of the Lotus apartment building.
“It is possible that the rock fell from the top floor of the apartment building and hit the child. Due to the severity of the injury, the child died on the way to the emergency room,” said Mr. Son.
The cause of the incident is currently being investigated by the police. The local authorities have come to encourage and support the family in arranging the child’s funeral.
