Thegioididong has just made an official announcement regarding a customer who bought an iPhone 6S Plus from the company but only received... stones.

On October 15, information about a customer buying an iPhone 6S Plus for more than 20 million VND but when opening the box, there were only stones, caused a stir in public opinion. The incident happened at The Gioi Di Dong store No. 1 Hoang Hoa Tham, Yen Bai city.
Immediately after that, the store staff exchanged the customer for a second rose gold iPhone 6S Plus, however, inside were still two stones inserted with accessories.
Regarding the above incident, Mobile World conducted an investigation and discovered that a total of 13 iPhones were "gutted" and replaced with stone, along with 5 other phones that were lost.
This retailer said that the person who committed the theft was Mr. NVN, a permanent resident of Yen Bai, a supermarket warehouse employee who started working there in April 2016.
Mobile World has transferred the case file to the police to handle according to the law. The company also apologized to customers for not managing its employees well, leading to the above incident.
