Found the body of a young man suspected of committing suicide by jumping off Ben Thuy 2 bridge
(Baonghean.vn) - After many searching efforts, this afternoon the authorities found the body of a young man who left his motorbike on Ben Thuy 2 bridge and went missing this morning (September 3).
Previously, as reported by Nghe An Newspaper, at 7:30 a.m. on September 3, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police received a suspicious report.Someone jumped off Ben Thuy 2 bridge to commit suicide.Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department mobilized the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team on the river to quickly arrive at the scene and search for the missing person.
Immediately afterwards, the identity of the young man was initially identified as Mr. NVV (born in 1995), residing in Yen Truong block, Trung Do ward, Vinh city. According to information provided by his family, Mr. V. left home on the evening of September 1, 2023. Although his family tried every way to contact him, they could not connect. On the morning of September 2, 2023, they discovered that the motorbike was abandoned on Ben Thuy 2 bridge.
After a day of searching, at around 4:00 p.m. this afternoon, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team found Mr. NVV's body on the Lam River, in the area opposite Củi Temple, in Xuan Hong Commune (Nghi Xuan, Ha Tinh).
Currently, the authorities are completing procedures to hand over NVV's body to his family for burial.
