Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Phu Trong - General Secretary of the Party Central Committee; Politburo members: Vuong Dinh Hue - Deputy Prime Minister; Nguyen Van Binh - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Economic Commission. Party Central Committee Secretaries: Nguyen Van Nen - Chief of the Party Central Committee Office; Phan Dinh Trac - Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Nguyen Xuan Thang - Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. Also attending were Party Central Committee members: Nguyen Thanh Binh - Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee; Senior Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang - Member of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Nguyen Ngoc Thien - Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Nguyen Xuan Cuong - Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development; Do Van Chien - Minister, Chairman of the Government Committee for Ethnic Minorities; Thuan Huu - Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper; leaders of Ha Tinh, Cao Bang and Lam Dong provinces; leaders of corporations, general companies and enterprises. On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; and comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Committee. The program was attended by historical witnesses and relatives of 13 Truong Bon youth volunteer martyrs and 10,000 people from the province. |
Opening the program, comrade Thuan Huu - Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper emphasized: Truong Bon victory is a victory of courage, indomitable will, fighting spirit, and sacrifice for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
The place name Truong Bon and the heroic sacrifice of 13 Youth Volunteers have become a legend in people's hearts, an immortal epic of youth in the war to liberate and unify the country.

The program “Truong Bon Legend” - an event coordinated by Nhan Dan Newspaper and Nghe An province with deep respect and gratitude, remembering the great contributions of heroes, martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and those who have contributed to the country, practically commemorating the 49th anniversary of Truong Bon Victory, 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2017).
At the same time, this is also an activity of "remembering the source of drinking water", calling for donations, support and help from officials and people nationwide to hundreds of veterans, former Youth Volunteers, relatives of martyrs in difficult circumstances currently living in Nghe An province and tens of thousands of people in general across the country.

At the program, comrade Thuan Huu - Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper and comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province presented savings books to representatives of relatives of 13 heroic martyrs of Truong Bon Youth Volunteer Force, historical witness Tran Thi Thong and former two Deputy Captains of the 317 Heroic Youth Volunteer Force Company.
The program's Organizing Committee also contributed 100 million VND to the Truong Bon Historical Relic Management Board and the Nghe An Education Promotion Fund, contributing to honoring revolutionary history; promoting education, and caring for the country's future generations.
