(Baonghean.vn) - Traditional clothing is a unique cultural feature of the Hmong people in western Nghe An. While the Thai and Khmu people share some similarities in their clothing, the Hmong are distinctly different. Since ancient times, this traditional attire has been preserved within the community and used by the Hmong during festivals. Today, although the clothing has undergone many innovations to suit current trends, it fundamentally retains its unique characteristics, from decorative patterns to the way it is worn.

The Hmong women's headdress is elaborately made and decorated. In the past, Hmong men would select beautiful girls to be their wives, and these "beauty queens" would often wear headdresses with many tassels and patterns like this. Therefore, even today, Hmong girls still wear this headdress to showcase their beauty.

Hmong women play a crucial role in preserving the traditional clothing of their people. The patterns and motifs on Hmong dresses and blouses are mostly hand-embroidered.
