The Russian State Duma deputy representing Crimea, Mikhail Sheremet, called the plan to take back Crimea with the participation of Kiev and NATO countries a fantasy.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Piotr Poroshenko on the "Pryamoi" TV channel reported that now Kiev and NATO are discussing a platform for the return of Crimea.

“The creation of such a platform is a hopeless project, it is utopian. There is no prospect of Crimea returning to Ukrainian jurisdiction. The goal of this entire propaganda campaign is to create an image of Russia as an enemy, based on utopianism,” Sheremet said.

According to him, NATO countries should create the foundations for the revival of the countries they once bombed and “plant their own people” with the help of weapons.

"NATO is like mold, wherever it appears, peace is immediately replaced by war," - Mr. Sheremet declared.
