During the meeting, the National Assembly deputies announced the results of the 5th session of the 13th National Assembly. Accordingly, at this session, the National Assembly discussed and passed 9 laws and 8 resolutions; discussed and gave opinions on chapters and articles of the draft amendments to the 1992 Constitution; considered and gave opinions on draft laws, and discussed the amended Land Law;… Notably, for the first time, the National Assembly successfully implemented a vote of confidence for 47 key positions elected or approved by the National Assembly, with the results publicly announced for the people to monitor and supervise.
During the conference, voters from Tay Son commune reflected on the following: The government needs to prioritize investment in building the national power grid for people in remote and mountainous areas, and implement programs to build infrastructure for these communes; some clean water projects are progressing too slowly, causing significant delays and increased costs. Voters from Minh Thanh village requested the government to invest in a suspension bridge to facilitate easier travel for the people; they also requested an increase in the allowances for village officials, as the current allowances are too low. To facilitate forest protection efforts, they requested that the government allocate forest land from the Forestry Department to the people, especially protective forests, so that people can confidently invest in production.
Voters requested that the government readjust the boundary between Ta Ca and Tay Son communes; that the government provide more support mechanisms and policies for remote and disadvantaged communes in the new rural development program, as poor communes find it very difficult to meet the prescribed criteria. The government should continue implementing Program 167 to support housing for disadvantaged people. Some young intellectuals who volunteer to work in difficult mountainous areas are currently under contract; if they want to serve long-term in the locality, they should be given permanent positions so that these young intellectuals can work with peace of mind…
