Members of Parliament meet with voters in Que Phong and Quy Chau districts.
(Baonghean)In preparation for the 2nd session of the 13th National Assembly, on October 5th, the National Assembly delegates elected in constituency No. 2 of Nghe An province, including Nguyen Sy Hoi - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; and Nguyen Thi Hai - Teacher at Ky Tan Primary School in Tan Ky district, held a meeting with voters in Tien Phong commune, Que Phong district, and voters in Chau Hoi, Chau Binh, and Chau Nga communes, Quy Chau district.
At voter outreach events, constituents submitted petitions and proposals to National Assembly representatives on issues such as: policies for the elderly; benefits and policies for soldiers who participated in the resistance war and victims of Agent Orange; compensation for land clearance and relocation of residents in the resettlement areas of the Hua Na Hydropower Plant and the Ban Mong irrigation dam; management and planning of forest land and agricultural land; quality of household electricity; investment in school construction and rural roads; job creation for students selected for government scholarships after graduation and young people in remote areas; support for loans, plant and animal breeds in agricultural production, and policies for investment in new rural development...
After listening to the voters' opinions, the National Assembly representatives explained the voters' proposals and recommendations, and at the same time requested the local authorities to promptly find solutions to address the voters' concerns within their purview as soon as possible. They also promised to compile and report these issues at the upcoming 2nd session of the 13th National Assembly.
