National Assembly delegates meet voters in Do Luong

(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the plan of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation on meeting voters after the 3rd session of the 15th National Assembly, on the morning of June 20, the National Assembly Delegation including Mr. Hoang Minh Hieu - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee; Mr. Tran Nhat Minh - Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee, full-time National Assembly delegate had a meeting with voters in Nam Son commune, Do Luong district.

Attending the conference were representatives from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Department of Transport; and Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

At the meeting with voters in Nam Son commune, Do Luong district, on behalf of the National Assembly deputies, deputy Tran Nhat Minh - member of the National Assembly's Law Committee, full-time National Assembly deputy informed about the results of the 3rd session of the 15th National Assembly.

Accordingly, the National Assembly reviewed and voted to pass 5 laws, 16 thematic resolutions and the general resolution of the session, gave opinions on 6 draft laws and resolved many other important contents.

The National Assembly gave opinions on six draft laws, including: Law on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence (amended); Law on Medical Examination and Treatment (amended); Law on Implementing Democracy at Grassroots Level; Law on Inspection (amended); Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Radio Frequencies; Law on Petroleum (amended).

At this session, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province contributed many important opinions to the success of the 3rd session of the 15th National Assembly.

With a spirit of democracy, construction and responsibility, voters expressed many thoughts, aspirations and recommendations to National Assembly delegates.

Voter Nguyen Huu Hung - Hamlet 1, Nam Son Commune proposed that currently the grassroots health system still has many shortcomings, infrastructure and medical examination and treatment equipment are seriously degraded; to better meet the people's needs for medical examination and treatment, the State should have a strong investment strategy in medical staff and medical examination and treatment facilities.

Voter Nguyen Huu Hung also added that recently on National Highway 7, there has been a situation of oversized and overloaded vehicles causing frustration for the people in the commune because of dust and many roads are damaged and seriously degraded.

Regarding the issue of oversized and overloaded vehicles, voter Le Tien Hung - Hamlet 6, Nam Son Commune proposed that all levels and sectors need to thoroughly handle the situation of oversized and overloaded vehicles. In addition, the repair and upgrading of damaged roads also needs to be done quickly and with quality, because National Highway 7 through Dang Son and Nam Son Communes has been repaired many times but is still damaged and must be rebuilt, causing frustration for people in the commune every time they pass through this road section.

Regarding the policy for people with meritorious services, voter Le Tien Hung said that in Nam Son commune, there are currently 80 martyrs whose names are on the honor roll and on the commune's memorial stele, but some of them do not have certificates of merit from the Fatherland, leading to no gifts on War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27) for families with meritorious services. He requested that relevant agencies pay attention and resolve this issue for the commune.

Regarding the policy for meritorious people, voter Nguyen Van Ha - Hamlet 5, Nam Son Commune said that he is a 1/4 war invalid. Currently, the State has many good policies for meritorious people. He recommends that the State consider paying more attention to policies for meritorious people in medical examination and treatment.

Voter Le Van Thuy - Hamlet 1, Nam Son Commune reported the situation of power lines running through people's houses but the compensation is not satisfactory. Nam Son Commune has 5 households with many power lines running through them, of which 4 households are compensated for resettlement, but voter Le Van Thuy's family is not compensated for resettlement, currently the family is living under power lines which is very dangerous, especially when the rainy and stormy season comes. It is requested that National Assembly delegates and all levels and sectors pay attention and consider a solution for the family.

Also at the meeting with voters in Nam Son commune, many voters made many recommendations about the environmental pollution taking place in the area, especially the garbage dumping area in hamlet 4, Nam Son commune; the problem of rapid increase in material prices while rice prices do not increase, leading to difficulties for farmers in production; there are still many shortcomings in policies for people with meritorious services...

At the conference, voters listened to Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh - Vice Chairman of Do Luong District People's Committee, within his authority, answer some questions about the problem of oversized and overloaded vehicles; land conversion and environmental pollution in the area. Representatives of the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development; Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Natural Resources and Environment answered some questions about agricultural policies, policies for people with meritorious services and some questions about land management and conversion...
