(Baonghean.vn)- On October 1, National Assembly Deputies:Le Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Vi Thi Huong - Deputy Director of Tay Nam Nghe An General Hospital met with voters in Keng Du commune, Ky Son district.

Keng Du is a border commune, located in the northwest of Ky Son district, with 25 km of border adjacent to Laos. The whole commune has 10 villages and 2 ethnic groups living there, Thai and Kho Mu, of which the Kho Mu account for 92.8%. The people's lives in the commune face many difficulties and deprivations with 72.4% of households being poor, the traffic infrastructure is not guaranteed, the commune still does not have national grid electricity, many villages lack clean water, etc.
At the meeting, National Assembly delegates reported to voters on a number of contents related to the 8th session of the 13th National Assembly and a number of socio-economic issues.

Voters of Keng Du commune proposed to the National Assembly deputies and the People's Committee of Ky Son district a number of issues such as: It is necessary to create conditions for commune health workers to attend training courses to improve their skills; increase the regime for village chiefs; pay attention to investing, repairing and upgrading domestic water works in Huoi Cang, Keng Du, Huoi Xui, Quyet Thang, Huoi Le villages; renovate a number of traffic routes from the commune center to the village; Some voters suggested that the state create conditions to arrange jobs for children in the commune who have graduated from accounting, medical, land administration and judicial schools; have a debt cancellation policy for students who borrow money to study but have not found a job; have measures to prevent illegal emigration of people from the locality; resolve boundary disputes with some neighboring communes such as My Ly, Bac Ly, Dooc May, etc.
