National Assembly delegates meet voters of Nghi Phu commune (Vinh city)
(Baonghean) -Implementing the program of meeting voters before the 2nd session of the 13th National Assembly, on the morning of October 6, National Assembly deputies including Mr. and Mrs. Tran Huu Tuat; Nguyen Minh Hong; and Le Thi Tam had a meeting with voters of Nghi Phu commune (Vinh city).
At the meeting with voters, delegates frankly reflected on the issues that reality is posing, such as the high rate of university, college, and vocational high school graduates who are still unemployed; the growing gap between rich and poor; policies for people with meritorious services to the country; negative issues in medical facilities; and medical ethics issues that have not received attention. Voters also raised concerns about the current land compensation regime, which is applying two prices, one is implemented according to State regulations, the other is agreed upon by enterprises, creating unfairness and inadequacies. They suggested that the National Assembly and the Government need to study, adjust, and create consistency in compensation for site clearance for projects and works being implemented. Also related to land, many voters said that the National Assembly, the Government, and central ministries and branches need to study to amend and supplement in accordance with reality, ensuring order and discipline in society.
A large number of voters expressed their wish that National Assembly deputies need to have a plan to meet voters more often, travel more often to listen more to voters' opinions and feedback, each deputy needs to make efforts to have a voice, contribute more at the National Assembly forum, and be worthy of being a representative of the will and aspirations of voters.
Next, the National Assembly deputies explained a number of issues related to their management and operation fields that voters were interested in, and promised to fully absorb the wishes and feedback of voters to send to the National Assembly, the Government and central ministries and branches for research, consideration and resolution.
