Vietnamese representative in top 5 Mister International 2018
The final night of the Mister International 2018 contest took place on the evening of April 30 in Myanmar. Vietnam's representative, model Tran Minh Trung, finished in the top 5.
Representative from Korea, Seung Hwan Lee, was crowned Mister International 2018. Contestants from Colombia and the Republic of South Africa won the runner-up title.

Stopping in the top 5, Tran Minh Trung expressed regret that he could not achieve better results.
“Tonight was a very emotional night for me. Although I tried my best, I still feel sad because I could not have a better result, letting down the fans at home who have always supported and followed me all this time. Another regret is that Trung could not perform the full national costume for a few reasons. The costume was too big, making it difficult to move, so the organizers did not let me use the wings,” he said.
The Vietnamese representative added: "Trung would like to apologize to those who have supported him in his homeland, for disappointing everyone's expectations."
Mister International is one of the three largest male beauty pageants in the world. Previously, supermodel Tran Minh Trung also shared that he realized his opponents in the contest were very strong and they all prepared carefully to conquer the title of Mister.

Tran Minh Trung was born in 1992. He is 1.84 m tall and weighs 78 kg. A vocal music student at the Ho Chi Minh City College of Culture and Arts, he released a few MVs but they did not make a splash.
In addition, he has participated in several competitions such as Perfect Couple, Dancing with the Stars... Among them, his most outstanding achievement is the silver prize in Vietnam Supermodel 2013.
According to Minh Trung, after the contest, he will focus on preparing new music products.
