Mr. Nguyen Van Lan, the owner of this house, said: To build such a tall house, he had to use over 450m3 of Sao Xanh wood. This amount of wood was stored and purchased from Laos and it is expected that in about 6 months, the house will be completed and put into use.

In addition to the unique 5-storey Sao Xanh wooden house in Ha Tinh, Mr. Lan also owns a house made entirely of Lim wood, 2 floors high, with a very unique architecture in the style of ancient Ruong houses in Hue. This house is currently the Coi Nguon coffee shop, located right behind the new house with a total usable area of ​​360m2.

Through research, it is known that when hearing that Mr. Lan (owner of a construction company) intended to build a 5-storey wooden house, many friends encouraged him to do it in Da Nang City, Hai Phong to increase the value of the wooden house. Although he already had land in these big cities, on the one hand because of his love for his homeland, on the other hand because of his old age (over 70 years old), he decided to return to his hometown to enjoy the countryside and reunite with his children and grandchildren.
