(Baonghean.vn) -After eight days of exciting competition, the final match and closing ceremony of the 6th Huda Cup Student Football Tournament of Nghe An Radio and Television Station took place this afternoon, April 29th, at the Military Region 4 Stadium.
The final match of this year's tournament was between players from Da Nang University of Sports and Physical Education and Vinh University. Before the match, Mr. Ho Quoc Thinh - Marketing Manager of Hue Beer Company Limited, and Mr. Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Deputy Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station and Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, went down to the field to present flowers and encourage the players of both teams.
In this match, with their three championship titles and a well-balanced squad, the team from the Han River was considered the favorite. Meanwhile, the Vinh University players had the advantage of playing at home with the enthusiastic support of their fans. Due to the importance of the match, both teams played cautiously and organized their defenses tightly. Most ball contests took place in the midfield, with few shots threatening either team's goal. The first half ended 0-0.
In the second half, both teams pushed forward in search of a goal, unwilling to settle the match with penalties. Several dangerous chances were created. Similar to the first half, all attacks from both teams only resulted in missed opportunities. The 0-0 score remained until the end of the match, forcing the two teams to decide the winner through a penalty shootout. Ultimately, the Da Nang University of Sports and Physical Education team emerged victorious with a final score of 5-4. This also marks the fourth time the team from the Han River has lifted the championship trophy.
Earlier, in the third-place match, the Hue University players easily defeated Hue Industrial College with a resounding 5-1 victory.

Immediately after the final match, the Organizing Committee held the closing ceremony and awarded prizes to the teams and individuals who achieved outstanding results. The Best Goalkeeper award was given to Tran Cong Thanh (Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports); the Best Player award went to number 14 Dau Toan Thang (Vinh University); and the Top Scorer award went to number 8 Dau Trong Tuan Anh (Vinh University) with 5 goals. The Organizing Committee awarded second place to Vinh University and the championship trophy to the best team - Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports.
