Vinh University commends outstanding role models.

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of April 25th, Vinh University held a conference to honor outstanding individuals and achievements during the 2010-2015 period. This was a model conference organized by the Ministry of Education and Training.

The conference affirmed the results of the five-year implementation of the emulation movement.

Over the past five years, the largest and most comprehensive emulation movement launched by Vinh University has been the "Excellent Teaching - Excellent Learning Emulation Movement". Simultaneously, the university has also launched emulation campaigns with specific contents and themes focusing on activities to improve the quality of training, scientific research, and building a cultural environment…

As a result, many activities have been implemented to improve the quality of training, and the scale and quality of training in basic disciplines and levels have been maintained and stabilized. From 2010 to the present, most of the school's enrollment targets have been met, and it has opened 10 new undergraduate programs and 5 new master's degree programs.

Scientific and technological activities have been effectively promoted, strengthening the link between scientific research and social needs through comprehensive cooperation with agencies and businesses. For five consecutive years, the university has been ranked among the top 10 nationwide in the number of publications in prestigious international journals; the staff has been built and trained in a more rational structure, ensuring quality and meeting development requirements, with over 80% of lecturers holding a master's degree or higher... The emulation and reward movement has truly become a strong driving force, motivating and encouraging all members to strive to build Vinh University into a key national university.

Professor Nguyen Thi Quynh Nga, the youngest Associate Professor and Doctor of Philosophy at the school, presented her paper at the conference.

In summary, the emulation movement resulted in 11 collectives and 59 individuals being commended for their outstanding achievements in the overall development of the school.
