(Baonghean.vn)- In the Top 49 public universities just announced, Vinh University ranked above Foreign Trade University.
On the afternoon of September 6, a group of 6 experts from many domestic and foreign organizations announced the ranking of universities in Vietnam for the 2016-2017 school year. This ranking includes 49 out of 100 schools whose information was collected and gave quite surprising results.

Vinh University ranked 21st, above many famous schools such as Foreign Trade University ranked 23rd, University of Commerce ranked 29th, National Economics University ranked 30th, Academy of Finance ranked 40th.
Vietnam National University, Hanoi ranked first with an overall score far surpassing other universities. The next four positions were Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam National University of Agriculture, Danang University and Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City.

Many young schools are ranked high, such as Ton Duc Thang in 2nd place, Duy Tan in 9th place, while many long-standing universities with high entrance scores are in the middle or at the bottom of the list. Three criteria for evaluation include: Scientific research works (40%), quality of education and training (40%), facilities and administration (20%).

Professor Tran Nam Binh (University of New South Wales, Australia) and Professor Le Van Cuong (University of Paris 1, France) provided advice and comments to complete the report. |
