Vinh University honors 15 typical religious youth

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of December 21, Vinh University held a ceremony to honor typical religious youth in 2017. This is a meaningful activity to celebrate the success of the 11th National Youth Union Congress, term 2017 - 2022, and to celebrate Christmas 2017.

The 15 faces honored as typical religious youth in 2017 are outstanding and exemplary students.

Some examples include: Tran Thi Thuy Dung (K55 B1 Environmental Science) with an average learning score of 4/4 points; Cao Van Quang (K55 Journalism) with an average learning score of 3.68/4, classified as excellent; Le Van Huy (55B1 QTKD Economics), with an average learning score of 3.38/4, head of a school-level scientific research project, with a report published in the Economic - Asia Pacific magazine; Nguyen Thi Mai Phuong (student of class 10A5, Specialized High School), with an average learning score of 8.4 and won second and third prizes in excellent student competitions at all levels...

Students of the school interacted with Dr. Dang Luu - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Literature Pedagogy and former student Nguyen Van Thuong, who is currently the director of Techconbank Nghe An Branch. They are exemplary parishioners, overcoming many difficulties and achieving achievements in their work. Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Ngo Dinh Phuong - Vice Principal, on behalf of the Party Committee and Board of Directors of Vinh University, wished all students a Merry Christmas and happiness.

The school’s vice principal also particularly appreciated the efforts of more than 500 Catholic students studying at the school. They are the pride of their families and parishes, constantly striving, overcoming difficulties to achieve many outstanding achievements in studying, cultivating and training.

This is the fifth consecutive year that Vinh University has organized a ceremony to honor typical religious youth. The program is not only an opportunity to honor outstanding students but also an opportunity to share and exchange experiences between generations of teachers and students of the school.

The organizers also hope that after the program, the typical religious youth and youth union members attending will be important nuclei to create a strong and united community of union members and youth. From there, contributing to building Vinh University into a national key university, a member of the quality assessment network of Southeast Asian universities.
