Congress of the Provincial Party Committee's Youth Union for the 2017-2019 term

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 22, the Provincial Party Committee's Youth Union organized the Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for the 2017-2019 term.

The Provincial Party Committee's Youth Union has 42 members, including 18 female members and 35 party members. Due to the nature of the work, 100% of the Youth Union members of the Provincial Party Committee's Youth Union have studied and received in-depth training on the policies and resolutions of the Party, the Youth Union, and the policies and laws of the State; many comrades have won high prizes in competitions to learn about the policies of the Party, the laws of the State and the Youth Union at all levels.

Political, ideological and ethical education as well as legal education dissemination and propaganda have always been given attention and implemented with high quality. The agency's Youth Union members have actively participated in many competitions such as: The Campaign "Building model values ​​of Vietnamese youth in the new era" to identify the core values ​​of Vietnamese youth "Pure heart, bright mind, great ambition"; Competition "Learning about the election of National Assembly and People's Council delegates at all levels", "Uncle Ho's youth, Uncle Ho with youth", "Youth with the sea and islands of the homeland"...

The Youth Union of the Provincial Party Committee also regularly organizes volunteer movements for the community, such as visiting and giving gifts to people in especially difficult areas in Hoang Mai Town, Tuong Duong, Tan Ky, Anh Son, Thanh Chuong, Quy Chau districts, etc. There are 7 members who have completed master's training, 8 members are studying intermediate political education.

Regarding the goals and directions for the 2017-2019 term, the Provincial Party Committee's Youth Union aims to build a youth union that achieves the title of outstanding, contributing to the success of the political and professional tasks of the agency. 100% of the union members participate in researching and fully studying the resolutions of the Party, the Youth Union, the policies and laws of the State; 80% are classified as excellent and 20% are outstanding. Every year, organize at least 3 thematic activities; introduce at least 2 comrades for consideration for Party admission; carry out at least 1 youth project or task...

The congress also heard presentations on many topics such as: Youth Union members of the Provincial Party Committee using social networks to fight against erroneous views, propagate the Party and State's guidelines and policies; solutions to improve the quality of youth union activities; actively advising on administrative reform in Party agencies.

Comrade Ton Manh - Party Secretary, Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office spoke at the congress, acknowledging and praising the results that the Provincial Party Committee's Youth Union had achieved. He also requested the Youth Union to strengthen the professional training for its members, ensuring the good performance of the Provincial Party Committee's committees; through the Youth Union's activities to educate and train working qualities and capacity; hoping that the agency's Youth Union would create practical and effective activities to mark the Youth Union's activities; maintain disciplined and effective Youth Union activities; and continue to innovate the Youth Union's working methods.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Ha - Secretary of the Youth Union of Provincial Agencies, speaking at the congress, acknowledged the results of the past term; hoped that the Youth Union members of the Provincial Party Committee's Agencies would be more bold in Youth Union activities; continue to innovate ideological and moral education, grasp the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws; actively perform professional tasks and practice professional skills.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Youth Union consisting of 5 comrades; elected 3 comrades to attend the Congress of the Youth Union of Provincial Agencies. Comrade Ngo Tuan Minh was elected as Secretary of the Youth Union.
