(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of July 22nd, the Vinh City Party Committee organized...The 23rd Congress of Delegates, term 2015 - 2020.Prior to the preparatory session, the delegation of the Congress, led by Comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee - laid wreaths and reported on their achievements at the Monument to President Ho Chi Minh in Ho Chi Minh Square.
Next, the delegates laid wreaths at the statue of Comrade Le Mao - the first Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee - in the grounds of the Vinh City Convention Center, where the Congress was held.
The Congress proceeded to elect the Presidium, the Secretariat, and the Credentials Committee; approved the regulations, rules, and program of the Congress; checked the number of delegates attending the Congress and allocated delegates, divided them into groups, and held meetings of delegation leaders.
