The 2nd Congress of Anh Son District Ornamental Plant Association

(Baonghean.vn) - On November 27, Anh Son District Ornamental Plants Association held the 2nd congress of delegates for the 2014-2019 term.

In the 2009 - 2014 term, with the efforts of cadres and members, the ornamental plant movement in Anh Son district developed strongly in both scale and product quality. The association's organization from the district to the grassroots level was consolidated, strengthened, and increasingly expanded, attracting a large number of members to participate. The number of members is increasing, from 25 members in 2009 to 300 members now. In the district, many effective economic models from ornamental plants, clean and beautiful home gardens, with high incomes have appeared, such as: Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tai's household processing silk wood in Hoa Son commune, Mr. Dang Dinh Cong's household, village 2, Long Son commune, Tran Van Bien, village 1, Khai Son... earning hundreds of millions of dong each year.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Le Hong Vinh - Secretary of the District Party Committee acknowledged the results that members of the district's ornamental plant association have achieved in the past time. In order for the district's ornamental plant movement to continue to develop commensurate with the potential of the homeland, comrade Le Hong Vinh requested the district's ornamental plant association to uphold the sense of responsibility, overcome difficulties, organize and implement the Ornamental Plant Association's charter; well implement the resolutions, programs and activities set out by the congress. Regularly strengthen the organization, improve professional qualifications, enhance the quality of activities, diversify the types of activities to contribute to improving the material and spiritual life of the people, contributing to building new rural areas.

At the congress, delegates unanimously elected 12 members to the Executive Committee of the Anh Son District Ornamental Plants Association, term II, 2014-2019; elected Mr. Nguyen Sy Van to hold the position of Chairman of the Anh Son District Ornamental Plants Association, term 2014-2019 and unanimously passed the congress resolution.
