The 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province is scheduled to take place from November 20-21.

On the morning of October 28, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province held the 6th Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Conference, term 2020-2025 to prepare for the 16th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province, term 2025-2030.

Attending and chairing the conference was comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

At the conference, delegates listened to and gave comments on the Draft Political Report of the 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province, term 2025-2030.

Delegates listened to and commented on the content of the Draft report reviewing the activities of the Committee and the Standing Committee of the 15th term; Draft program of the congress's regulations; Expected congress speeches; Draft personnel plan for the 16th term; Draft proposal for delegates to the 11th National Congress; Expected presidium and secretariat of the congress.

Accordingly, the Draft Political Report submitted to the delegates of the 16th Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province, term 2025-2030 comprehensively assessed the results of implementing the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress; set out goals, tasks and directions for the coming term with 13 specific targets and 6 action programs for the term 2025-2030.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee emphasized: The Congress will take place in the context that the whole province is resolutely implementing the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, with new requirements on innovation, solidarity and development.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Breakthrough - Development", the 16th Congress has the task of comprehensively evaluating the implementation results of the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress.

At the same time, draw valuable lessons, determine directions, goals and specific, practical action programs, contributing to realizing Nghe An's aspiration for rapid and sustainable development in the new period. Therefore, the organization of this conference aims to contribute ideas to the drafts to best prepare for the upcoming Provincial Fatherland Front Congress.

As planned, the 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province will take place on November 20 and 21, 2025, with about 300 delegates attending.

Of which, there are 90 delegates from the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term XV, along with 196 delegates allocated from units, localities and a number of delegates appointed to ensure full structure, composition, representation of all classes of people, ethnicities, religions and typical individuals in social life.

The conference received and recorded the opinions and suggestions of the delegates to complete the draft reports, personnel structure and unify the program of the 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province, term 2025-2030 to submit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for approval./.
