Party Congress of the Hung Nguyen District People's Committee

(Baonghean.vn) - On March 28, the Party Committee of Unit 12/9 (the agency of the People's Committee of Hung Nguyen District) held its Congress for the 2015-2020 term. This unit was directed by the District Party Committee to hold a congress with direct elections for the Standing Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary. Attending and directing the congress were comrades Hoang Van Phi - Provincial Party Committee member - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Pham Quoc Viet - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, representatives of the Party committees, and 103 Party members from the entire Party Committee.

Overview of the congress

During the past term, the Party Committee of 12/9 coordinated with the heads of agencies to lead Party members and cadres within the Party Committee, effectively advising the district Party committee on the implementation of the goals and targets set by the 27th District Party Congress, bringing the Hung Nguyen district economy to a growth rate of 7-8% per year, with an average per capita income of 18-22.5 million VND/person.

Over the past five years, 28 new party members have been admitted. The Party Committee has 14 branches, and over the past five years, 28 new members have been admitted, bringing the total number of party members in the entire Party Committee to 103; on average, 80% of the branches achieve the "clean and strong" rating annually. For five consecutive years, the 12/9 Party Committee has been classified as an outstanding "clean and strong" Party Committee and has received a commendation from the Provincial Party Committee. These achievements have contributed to the District Party Committee being recognized as a "clean and strong" Party Committee and an "excellent" government for 13 consecutive years.

Presiding over the congress

During the 2015-2020 term, building on the achievements already made, the Party Committee of District 12/9 (the district People's Committee) continues to strive for the Party Committee to achieve the "Strong and Excellent" rating annually; 100% of Party branches to successfully complete their tasks; 100% of Party branches to achieve the "Strong and Excellent" rating, with 20% achieving the "Outstandingly Strong and Excellent" rating; 100% of Party members to successfully complete their tasks; maintaining 15% of Party members to excellently complete their tasks; 100% of associations and organizations to achieve the "Strong" rating or higher; and an average of 4-5 new Party members admitted each year.

At the congress, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying existing shortcomings and limitations, and proposed numerous solutions to effectively carry out tasks in the next term.

In a spirit of unity, democracy, and innovation, the Congress elected a new Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term, consisting of 9 members, and also elected a delegation to attend the higher-level congress.
