(Baonghean.vn) - On March 28, the Party Committee 12/9 (the People's Committee of Hung Nguyen district) held the Congress for the 2015-2020 term. This is the unit directed by the District Party Committee to organize the congress to directly elect the Standing Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary. Attending and directing the congress were comrades Hoang Van Phi - Provincial Party Committee member - District Party Committee Secretary, Pham Quoc Viet - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, representatives of Party committees and 103 Party members in the entire Party Committee.

Overview of the congress

During the past term, the 12/9 Party Committee has coordinated with the heads of agencies to lead party members and cadres in the Party Committee to play a good advisory role for the district Party Committee in implementing the targets and targets set by the 27th district Party Congress, bringing the economy of Hung Nguyen district to a growth rate of 7-8% per year, with an average income per capita of 18-22.5 million VND/person.

In 5 years, 28 new party members have been admitted. The Party Committee has 14 Party cells, in the past 5 years, 28 new party members have been admitted, bringing the total number of party members in the entire Party Committee to 103 comrades; on average, 80% of Party cells are clean and strong every year. For 5 consecutive years, the 12/9 Party Committee has been classified as a typical exemplary party cell and has been awarded a certificate of merit by the Provincial Party Committee. With these achievements, the District Party Committee has been recognized as a clean and strong Party Committee and an excellent government for 13 consecutive years.

Chairing the congress

In the 2015-2020 term, based on the achieved results, Party Committee 12/9 (district People's Committee office) continues to strive for the Party Committee to achieve the title of Strong Party Cell every year; 100% of the leadership Party cells to complete their tasks well; strive for 100% of the Party cells to achieve the title of Strong Party Cell, of which 20% of the Party cells are exemplary clean and strong; 100% of the Party members are qualified to complete their tasks well; maintain 15% of the Party members are qualified to complete their tasks excellently; 100% of the organizations and unions are strong or better; on average, each year admits 4-5 new Party members.

At the congress, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying existing problems and limitations and proposed many solutions to effectively carry out tasks in the coming term.

In the spirit of solidarity, democracy and innovation, the Congress elected a new Party Executive Committee for the 2015-2020 term, consisting of 9 comrades, and elected a delegation to attend the congress at a higher level./.
