Ban Ve Hydropower Company Party Congress for the 2015-2020 term

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 10th, the Party Committee of Ban Ve Hydropower Company held its 4th Party Congress for the 2015-2020 term.Attending the congress was Comrade Nguyen Quang Tung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc.

The Party Committee of Ban Ve Hydropower Company has 8 branches with 73 party members. During the past term, the Party Committee focused on leading and directing cadres and party members to uphold a high sense of responsibility and dynamism in their work, improving the quality of advice, especially in participating in the formulation of policies, mechanisms, programs, and projects for the Provincial People's Committee on the development of the electricity sector, successfully fulfilling the unit's political tasks during the 2010-2015 term.

The Party Committee focused on leading the successful implementation of investment, construction, project management, and operation of the Ban Ve hydropower plant. It ensured stable, safe, and efficient operation, participated in bidding for electricity in the competitive power generation market, and consistently exceeded annual power generation targets set by the Vietnam Electricity Group and Power Generation Corporation 1, surpassing the designed capacity.

Specifically, in 2011, electricity production exceeded 1.1 billion kWh/435 million kWh, reaching 253%; in 2012, electricity production reached nearly 1.3 billion kWh/656 million kWh, reaching 200%; in 2013, electricity production exceeded 1.220 billion kWh/1.037 billion kWh, reaching 118%; and in 2014, electricity production exceeded 1.115 billion kWh/951 million kWh, reaching 120%; maintaining stable annual reservoir water level regulation. After 5 years of operation, the Ban Ve Hydropower Plant reached the milestone of 5 billion kWh of electricity generation, coinciding with the 60th anniversary of the Vietnam Electricity industry. From 2010-2014, it paid over 557 billion VND in various taxes and over 172 billion VND in forest environmental fees.

Discussion on improving the quality of Party branch activities of the Company Office Party Branch

The Party Committee focuses on leading the implementation of administrative reforms, arranging and organizing the personnel structure to suit their abilities and strengths; enhancing the responsibility, skills, and professional ethics of cadres and Party members; building and effectively implementing coordination regulations between departments and workshops; and leading organizations and associations in developing operational regulations and coordination regulations between the Party Committee, professional departments, and mass organizations.

The Congress focused on leveraging collective intelligence, discussing and agreeing on solutions to build upon achievements, overcome limitations and shortcomings of the previous term, continue to innovate methods and enhance the Party's leadership capacity in leading the unit, and improve the quality of Party members in conjunction with the annual performance evaluation of cadres. The focus was on leading the company's production and business operations with maximum efficiency, improving the living standards and working conditions of employees, completing the final settlement of investment capital for the Bản Vẽ project, and striving to build a strong and exemplary Party Committee throughout the term.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Ban Ve Hydropower Company Party Committee, term IV, 2015-2020, with 7 members, and elected delegates to attend the Congress of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc.
