The Party Committee of Nghe An Petroleum Company has gone through 28 congresses. Each congress marks a new way of thinking, leadership methods, and working methods, affirming the role of the core leader, promoting business development.

During the 2020-2025 term, the Company's Party Committee has directed decisively, flexibly, creatively, and coordinated with expertise to overcome the prolonged impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and fluctuations in the global energy market, helping the enterprise continue to develop with impressive growth in production and business targets.

Notably, retail sales increased by an average of 9.3% per year; annual profits exceeded the plan, with an average annual profit of more than 35 billion VND; total budget contribution reached nearly 3,732 billion VND; average income per employee increased by 11.2% per year, reaching 17.8 million VND/person/month in 2024 alone. Nghe An Petroleum Company continues to affirm its position as a leading enterprise in the field of petroleum distribution in the locality.

To achieve this result, according to comrade Nguyen Sy Van - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Company: The Company's Party Committee pays special attention to orientation and professional leadership focusing on investment in infrastructure development and modernization of management. In the period of 2020 - 2025, the total investment capital reached more than 311 billion VND to renovate and upgrade the system of gas stations, warehouses, ports, and technical facilities. In particular, strongly implementing digital transformation projects with systems such as: SAP-ERP, EGAS, CRM, HRM, along with cashless payment solutions, QR codes, AI applications in management... Through that, it has contributed to improving operational efficiency, especially transparency in management and quality of customer service.

The Party Committee continues to take care of leading the development of corporate culture - this is identified as the core value, enhancing competitiveness, bringing sustainable development to the enterprise through expanding, developing, diversifying product lines and products (including gasoline, liquefied gas, lubricants, Petrolimex paint, Jana laundry detergent, insurance services...) and expanding the retail network associated with improving product quality; training, coaching, improving the quality of human resources, in which, promoting the development of a culture of communication and behavior with customers - a highlight of Petrolimex Nghe An recognized by customers; paying attention to social security work... During the 2020 - 2025 term, the Company has contributed 8.8 billion VND to social security work.

Along with innovation and improving the effectiveness of leadership in implementing the political tasks of production and business of the enterprise, with the deep awareness that "Party building is the key", the Party Committee of Nghe An Petroleum Company focuses on building a clean and strong Party in all aspects. During the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee of the company focuses on innovation, widely implementing the policies and resolutions of the Party at all levels and the topic of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle; strengthening ideological education through regular Party cell activities and thematic activities.

Currently, the Nghe An Petroleum Company Party Committee has a total of 287 party members (accounting for more than 46% of the total number of cadres and employees of the enterprise), operating in 15 affiliated party cells. This is the core force, playing a pioneering and exemplary role in all activities, from performing production and business tasks to emulation movements, building corporate culture, maintaining ethics and lifestyle, contributing to strengthening the trust of employees in the leadership of the Party.

The Company's Party Committee has also effectively implemented the pilot model of "4-good grassroots Party Committee" and "4-good Party Cell" at 5 affiliated Party cells, contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and each Party cell; taking care of the work of developing Party members with the result of admitting 63 new Party members; promoting inspection and supervision work. The Party Committee of Nghe An Petroleum Company has been recognized for 4 consecutive years as a typical grassroots Party organization that has excellently completed its tasks. Organizations and unions such as the Trade Union and the Youth Union have promoted an active role in the emulation movement in production, business, digital transformation, social security, building a united and humane working environment and strongly spreading the corporate culture of Petrolimex Nghe An.

In the context of many economic fluctuations, the leadership role of the Party Committee in enterprises is increasingly showing its importance. From the practical activities of the Party Committee of Nghe An Petroleum Company - a typical party organization in the enterprise sector, Comrade Nguyen Sy Van - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Company emphasized 5 lessons:

Firstly, the Party Committee identifies and takes political and ideological education as the "foundation" for all actions. Organizing the timely study and dissemination of Party directives and resolutions, State policies and laws is not just a formality, but is concretized into a practical action program, suitable for the characteristics of commercial and service enterprises in the energy sector. From there, it creates ideological consensus and a common direction for action for all cadres, Party members and workers.

Second, the Party Committee always strives to innovate the content and leadership methods to suit the characteristics of enterprises, the characteristics of commercial activities, and energy business - a field that requires high competitiveness and flexibility. The presence of the Party is reflected in all aspects: from investment strategy, digital transformation, retail network development, to human resources and financial management. The Party Committee's creative approach is to ensure a close relationship between the Party Committee - professional leadership - organizations and unions, creating a "multi-dimensional" but unified and effective operating mechanism, maintaining political identity without affecting business speed and efficiency.

Third, build internal solidarity based on the principle of organizing Party activities seriously, promoting the pioneering and exemplary role of leaders and all cadres and Party members; at the same time, expand democracy, listen and dialogue between leaders and workers, create a transparent, sharing and frank environment for common goals.

Fourth, actively innovate and apply advanced and modern business management tools; link personal responsibility with performance results, in order to improve labor productivity, increase production and business efficiency, and improve working conditions and living conditions for workers.

Fifth, strengthen inspection and supervision to prevent violations and promptly handle violating groups and individuals. This not only strengthens internal discipline but also enhances the prestige of the Party organization, thereby creating trust among workers and social partners.

The Party Committee also clearly identified the general goals: Continue to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee; promote democracy, discipline, solidarity, innovate leadership and management methods to improve productivity, quality, service and production and business efficiency; apply digital transformation, advanced technology, modernize technical facilities; build corporate culture associated with green economy, environmental protection; enhance the brand and position of Petrolimex Nghe An.

Gradually improve the material and spiritual life of workers; ensure safety in all aspects; exceed planned targets and assigned tasks. Strive for the Party Committee to always excellently complete its tasks and strengthen mass organizations. Including a number of specific goals and targets, such as increasing petroleum output by 5-8%/year; the rate of non-cash transactions is over 30%; completing comprehensive digital transformation to become the leading "digital enterprise" in the Vietnam National Petroleum Group.

The Party Committee of Nghe An Petroleum Company also clearly identified 3 breakthroughs in the 2025 - 2030 term. Including: Promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation to improve management and increase labor productivity; building corporate culture, focusing on training and developing the capacity of cadres and employees, in parallel with building a culture of standard behavior with customers; developing retail methods to improve efficiency and sustainability, focusing on green energy products, environmentally friendly.

The 29th Congress of the Party Committee of Nghe An Petroleum Company, term 2025 - 2030 is a call to action for all cadres, party members and employees to realize the strategic directions and goals for the next 5 years and long term, bringing Petrolimex Nghe An to continue to develop at a higher level, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of Nghe An province and the country.
