Dien Phu Commune Party Congress (Dien Chau District) for the 2020-2025 term
(Baonghean.vn) - On May 19th and 20th, the Party Committee of Dien Phu commune, Dien Chau district, held its 21st Congress of Delegates for the 2020-2025 term. Attending and directing the Congress was Comrade Tang Van Luyen - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the Dien Chau District People's Committee.

The Dien Phu Party Committee has 378 party members, organized into 16 branches. During the 2015-2020 term, the Party Committee fostered a spirit of unity and successfully led the completion of the targets set forth in the Resolution of the 20th Dien Phu Commune Party Congress.
The economic structure has shifted in the right direction with an average growth rate of 8.5% over the past five years, meeting the set target; the total value of production in 2020 is estimated at 302 billion VND, an increase of over 103 billion VND compared to 2015, achieving the Resolution's target; average per capita income reached 32.2 million VND/person/year, an increase of 11.4 million VND compared to the beginning of the term, and the poverty rate decreased to 1.16%, exceeding the set target.
The commune has mobilized nearly 47 billion VND for rural development, striving to achieve its goals in 2020. In recent years, the rural landscape of Dien Phu commune has undergone many changes with the investment in infrastructure, which is now modern, spacious, and solid. The economic structure has shifted rapidly towards increasing the proportion of small-scale handicraft production, trade, and services. The Dien Phu Party Committee has set 20 targets across all sectors for the 2020-2025 term: Striving for an average economic growth rate of 8.5-9%, with the economic structure encompassing agriculture, forestry, and fisheries accounting for 40%, and industry, construction, and services accounting for 60%. Average per capita income is targeted at 50-55 million VND/year, and the poverty rate is reduced to 0.5-1%. The commune Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front, and other organizations are expected to perform their duties well or better.
