Congress of the Association of Revolutionary Soldiers Imprisoned by the Enemy in Thai Hoa Town

(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, January 21st, the Association of Revolutionary Soldiers Imprisoned by the Enemy in Thai Hoa town held its first General Assembly for the 2013-2018 term.

TThai Hoa town currently has 26 revolutionary fighters who were captured and imprisoned by the enemy. They endured years of hardship, living in shackles and suffering brutal torture in enemy prisons, but they always maintained the integrity of loyal, brave, and indomitable communists.The congress announced Decision 933/QD-UBND of the People's Committee of Thai Hoa town on recognizing the establishment of the Association of Former Political Prisoners of Thai Hoa town.

The Executive Committee was introduced to the Congress.

The first Congress of the Association of Former Soldiers of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Thai Hoa town aimed to achieve the goal of "For the ideals of the Party - unity - strength and camaraderie," gathering and caring for the education of its members, and maintaining revolutionary qualities;At the same time, they exchange experiences to help each other in labor and production, improve their lives, and replicate advanced models and exemplary examples to educate the younger generation about traditions.

The congress elected 3 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Association of Former Soldiers of Thai Hoa Town, 1st term (2012 - 2017).
