2nd Congress of Vinh University Veterans Association

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 10, the Vinh University Veterans Association held its second congress for the 2017-2022 term.

Attending the congress were Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Tran - Vice President of Nghe An Veterans Association; Board of Directors and 51 members of the school's Veterans Association.

Vinh University Veterans Association was established in 2010 with 51 members, the first congress was in 2011.

During the past term, the Veterans Association of Vinh University has operated very effectively and in the right direction, successfully completing assigned political tasks, promoting the traditional nature of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", deserving to be a trustworthy mass organization in the political system led by the Party Committee of the University, contributing to building the University to be increasingly stable and developed.

Members of the Vinh University Veterans Association have performed well their duties in participating in building and protecting the Party and the agency's government; actively fighting against the plot of "peaceful evolution" and wrong views; regularly propagating, educating, and fostering the tradition of patriotism and revolutionary heroism for the younger generation; coordinating with the Youth Union and Student Association to learn and grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and young people in order to have appropriate forms, contents, and measures of propaganda and education...
