On the morning of June 30, Nghe An Plant Seed Center held the opening ceremony of Song Lam Green Agency. Attending were comrade Nguyen Van De - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors, unions of the province, cooperatives in the whole province and leaders of People's Committees of districts, cities, towns...

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Dang Tho Xuan - Director of Nghe An Plant Seed Center said: Song Lam Green Agency is the address for displaying, introducing, promoting and selling green energy agricultural and forestry products; introducing and selling typical agricultural products and specialties of the province.

Accordingly, the agency displays, introduces and sells more than 50 products of all kinds. Of which, there are 4 organic products including Song Lam rice and Song Lam peanuts; 10 products following VietGAP standards produced by the Plant Breeding Center in the growing area in Yen Thanh (40ha) and Hung Dong commune, Vinh city (2ha). Along with that, Song Lam Green agency is also the address to connect and consume OCOP products, specialty products of cooperatives, farmers in the province and many specialties of provinces across the country.

The products sold at the agency all have clear origins, have barcodes to trace their origins and are strictly managed and monitored for quality, meeting the needs of consumers in and outside the province for clean food products.

The opening of Song Lam Green Agency by Nghe An Plant Seed Center to display, introduce and trade green agricultural products contributes to promoting quality agricultural and forestry products, ensuring food safety, and promoting sustainable development of the province's agricultural production.

At the same time, facilitate the quality control and food safety of agricultural products according to the value chain linked with traceability and build distribution channels for the province's typical products.

On the first day of opening, Song Lam Green Agency provided the market and consumers inside and outside the province with tons of rice, peanuts, melons... During the opening period, Song Lam Green Agency reduced the selling price by 15% for consumers and gave away accompanying products to each customer with an order of 300,000 VND or more.

In addition to in-store sales, Song Lam Green Agent also implements online sales to help people have more choices with products of clear origin and reasonable prices.
