Polish Ambassador interested in economic, educational and medical cooperation opportunities with Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - In 2018, the Vietnam - Poland Friendship Association of Nghe An province will celebrate the 40th anniversary of its founding and the 100th anniversary of Poland's National Day, with financial support from the Polish Embassy.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam - Poland Friendship Association of Nghe An province thanked the Polish government and people for their enthusiastic help and support for Vietnam in general and Nghe An in particular over the past nearly 40 years.
“I hope the Ambassador will continue to support Vietnam in general and Nghe An in particular to strengthen cooperation in many fields, help promote the image of Nghe An country and people to Poland as well as create conditions for Nghe An people to understand more about Poland and its people,” said the Chairman of the Vietnam - Poland Friendship Association of Nghe An province.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also hopes that in the coming time, the two sides will bring bilateral cooperation to higher levels in the fields of economy, culture, education, health, etc.
| The Vietnam - Poland Friendship Association of Nghe An province was established in 1978, 5 years earlier than the Central Vietnam - Poland Friendship Association due to objective needs. At that time, the Polish Government helped Nghe An build the province's General Friendship Hospital, with many Polish officials and experts working together with the officials and people of Nghe An. |
Delighted with the rapid development and change of Nghe An province, Ms. Barbara Szymanowska emphasized that the recent cooperation achievements are an encouragement for the Polish Government to continue supporting Nghe An, thereby contributing to further strengthening the friendship between the two peoples.
