Embassy recommends fans go to UAE to cheer for Vietnam football team
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has just issued a number of recommendations for fans going to the UAE to cheer for the Vietnamese national football team participating in the AFC Asian Cup 2019.
To ensure security and safety for Vietnamese fans cheering for the national team participating in the 2019 Asian Football Cup (AFC Asian Cup 2019), starting from January 5 to February 1, 2019 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Vietnamese Embassy in the UAE has some notes for fans.

Accordingly, fans should buy tickets through the official website of the tournament organizing committee at "www.afcasiancup2019.com".
You should bring appropriate belongings (luggage, clothes, personal items and necessary documents, etc.); at the same time, keep your belongings safe, especially your personal documents to avoid loss. Your passport must be valid for more than 6 months.
Fans need to behave and cheer in a civilized and polite manner, restrain themselves and avoid excessive/provocative behavior to prevent conflicts with fans from other countries, affecting the image of Vietnam. Strictly comply with the law and respect the customs and practices of the UAE (dress politely and discreetly; do not use alcohol in public places, do not go out after drinking alcohol; only smoke in permitted areas...).
