Comrade Le Duc Anh passed away at 20:10, April 22, 2019 at the Official House, No. 5A, Hoang Dieu Street, Hanoi City.

According to the Central Committee for the Protection and Care of Officials' Health, comrade Le Duc Anh, born in 1920, former Politburo member, former President, after a period of illness, despite the Party, State, professors and doctors' devoted treatment and the wholehearted care of his family, due to old age and poor health, he passed away at 20:10 on April 22, 2019 at the Official House, No. 5A, Hoang Dieu Street, Hanoi City.
The visitation, memorial service and burial ceremony of comrade Le Duc Anh will be announced later.
