Implementing the policy of the Party, State and Ministry of Public Security on arranging regular police officers to take up the position of commune police, Nghe An provincial leaders have given strong direction and paid deep attention both materially and spiritually to Nghe An Police to implement.

The provincial police have also devoted maximum force to complete the arrangement of at least 5 regular police officers in a commune, with many communes arranging from 6 to 11 officers.

The grassroots police force has initially made a clear change in the security and order situation. In 2020, social order crimes in the province decreased by 6.9% compared to the same period. The commune police force discovered and handled more than 600 cases, including the discovery and successful coordination in solving 20 major cases, arresting 16 wanted subjects...

Along with human resource arrangement and organizational improvement, the Provincial Police have proactively advised and coordinated in building facilities and working equipment.

Regarding working headquarters, the Provincial Police have built new and arranged 38 police headquarters in communes, including 27 border communes and 11 mountainous and especially difficult communes.

In order to implement the above policy, TH Group sponsored funds for the Provincial Police to set up a project to build working headquarters for the police in 27 border communes; to date, 8 headquarters have been completed and put into use and 19 headquarters are under construction.

Each commune police headquarters is built on land with favorable locations, suitable for the task of ensuring security and order, and with the added factor of building larger-scale projects in the future.

Commune police headquarters have an area of ​​1,500m²up to 3,000m², designed according to a unified model including a level 4 house with 3 living and working rooms, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom and toilet...

The leader of Nghe An Provincial Police said that in 2021, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee agreed in principle to balance and allocate 15 billion VND to continue building, renovating and upgrading commune police headquarters, striving for each district to build 1 to 2 headquarters.

Minister of Public Security To Lam expressed his joy at attending the inauguration ceremony of the Thanh Thuy Commune Police Headquarters, Thanh Chuong District - a border commune with an extremely important geographical position for Nghe An province as well as in the friendly and cooperative relationship with Laos.

On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, General To Lam commended the efforts of Nghe An Provincial Police in the policy of building a regular commune police force.

The provincial police have also thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the direction of the Ministry's leaders, taking full advantage of the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee, closely coordinating with departments, branches, sectors, Party committees and local authorities in the province.

Although Nghe An is the locality with the largest number of administrative units in the country, the Provincial Police have been very prompt in completing this work.
