(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 18th, under the chairmanship of Comrade Tran Hong Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting of the Internal Affairs sector for September 2015.

Representatives from various sectors attended, including the Internal Affairs Department, the Provincial Police, the Provincial People's Procuracy, the Provincial Court, the Department of Justice, the Provincial Border Guard, the Provincial Inspectorate, and the Provincial Enforcement Department.

During the month, the various sectors within the bloc coordinated the implementation of numerous measures and plans, achieving many positive results in all aspects of work. Important tasks were prioritized and accelerated, resulting in significant achievements in internal affairs: Military and national defense work was consistently strengthened, maintaining strict readiness for combat; ensuring national security, social order and safety; and providing absolute protection for political, cultural, educational, economic activities, and international delegations, as well as high-ranking Party and State leaders visiting and working in Nghe An.

In addition, the agencies within the internal affairs sector have implemented numerous measures, intensified high-intensity crackdowns on crime, and successfully investigated many particularly dangerous criminal networks related to drugs and environmental crimes. In particular, the agencies have closely coordinated and accelerated the investigation process to expedite the conclusion of prosecution requests for particularly serious murder cases as outlined in the August briefing conference.

The relevant sectors have performed well in investigation, prosecution, and trial; civil enforcement; inspection; and handling of complaints and denunciations within their jurisdiction. Many cases of smuggling and commercial fraud have been apprehended and dealt with, resulting in significant revenue collection for the State budget. Forest management and protection have been strengthened, with coordinated efforts to promptly and strictly handle numerous cases of deforestation and illegal timber trade. Fire prevention and control efforts have also yielded significant results.

However, crime rates are on the rise, illegal migration remains prevalent, and illegal deforestation, mining, and gold extraction continue to occur. Some complex cases and incidents have yet to be resolved definitively…

Colonel Le Khac Thuyet, Head of the Staff Department of the Provincial Police, suggested that public awareness campaigns should be improved to reduce murder cases.

Comrade Ton Hien Phuong, Deputy Director of the Provincial People's Procuracy, requested that relevant agencies promptly investigate and bring important cases to trial.

At the conference, representatives from various sectors focused on discussing and proposing comprehensive solutions to address existing shortcomings and limitations, and to improve the effectiveness of their respective fields. The conference also outlined key directions and tasks for October 2015. These included continuing to strengthen coordination in ensuring national security and social order; and coordinating the effective handling and resolution of complex issues.,Launching intensive campaigns to attack and crack down on crime.
