By the end of 2015, the total number of organizations participating in social insurance under the management of the Branch included 231 units in 7 provinces from Ninh Binh to Thua Thien Hue, an increase of 4 units compared to 2014. In the past year, the Branch has basically completed restructuring the apparatus according to regulations, completed 100% of the professional work plan; performed well the work of granting and revoking social insurance certificates, collecting fees, information and propaganda, internal control...

In 2015, the units participating in the Deposit Insurance in the branch managed safe and healthy operations, without any deposit payments or liquidation of the organizations participating in the Deposit Insurance in the area.

Deploying the tasks in 2016, the Branch focused on completing on-site inspections of 74 grassroots People's Credit Funds and 1 Microfinance Institution; conducting surprise inspections of units when there were unusual fluctuations. Improving the quality of remote monitoring to (98-100%), implementing early warnings, promptly detecting organizations participating in the Deposit Insurance violating safety regulations in banking activities in order to recommend appropriate handling measures to the State Bank branches in the provinces; At the same time, continuing to connect the Electronic Reporting Information Support System for 10 People's Credit Funds.

Actively urge organizations participating in deposit insurance to strictly implement legal regulations on deposit insurance: pay deposit insurance fees, apply for deposit insurance certificates, post deposit insurance certificates to increasingly strengthen the trust of depositors...

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Hoang Viet Duong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged the contributions of the North Central Region Deposit Insurance Branch in successfully completing its operational goals over the past year, contributing to ensuring safe and healthy operations for deposit insurance participating organizations in the area. The Branch has coordinated with State Banks in the region to synchronously implement the regulations of the State Bank of Vietnam and Vietnam Deposit Insurance as well as coordinate timely inspections of deposit insurance participating organizations in the area, contributing to the development of socio-economic tasks of each locality. Urging deposit insurance participating organizations to strictly implement the law on deposit insurance.

Units participating in the North Central region's BHTG operate safely, with quality and efficiency, and bad debt is below the permitted level.
