Ensuring food safety for the 2017 national high school exam
(Baonghean.vn) – To ensure food safety for the 2017 national exam, the provincial Food Safety Department and districts, towns and cities have increased inspections of restaurants to prevent food poisoning.

To ensure food safety for the high school graduation exam, university and college entrance exam and prevent food poisoning in the summer of 2017, from June 1, 2017 to now, the monitoring team of the provincial Food Safety Department has increased inspections of food businesses in the area, near the exam sites.
On June 19, the delegation continued to inspect the Shanghai Chicken Rice Restaurant (Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City), Clean Chicken 424 - Doc Thiet (Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City); thereby, increasing the total number of establishments inspected since the beginning of the period to nearly 20 units.
Mr. Tran Ngoc Son, Head of the Information, Communication and Poison Management Department - Provincial Food Safety Department said: Through inspection, most businesses have been aware of complying with food safety regulations; food origin is clear; no toxic substances are detected in food... The inspection team also reminded the establishments to pay more attention to cleaning dishes, keeping food samples, and ensuring food additive storage.

Nghe An Food Safety Department has sent a dispatch to health departments and health centers to strengthen communication; organize inspection and supervision of food service establishments, especially focusing on establishments serving candidates and their families near exam sites.
During this exam, each district, town and city will establish a standing team (3-5 people), coordinate with treatment facilities, prepare personnel and specialized equipment to quickly and effectively handle food safety incidents./.
