Ensuring the best conditions for the Congress of ethnic minorities

As planned, the 3rd Congress of Ethnic Minorities of Nghe An province in 2019 is expected to be held for 2 days, from September 11 to 12, 2019 in Vinh city.

The Congress aims to summarize and evaluate ethnic work in the period of 2014 - 2019, thereby drawing lessons to set out directions and tasks for the period of 2019 - 2024. The Congress is also an opportunity to honor and commend outstanding collectives and individuals among ethnic minorities with many outstanding achievements contributing to the cause of developing ethnic minorities and contributing to the common goals of the province.

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing the theme and content of the Congress; assigning tasks to the subcommittees, members of the steering committee, structure and number of delegates; logistics work and resolving difficulties and problems in the process of organizing the congress programs.

The 5th Provincial Ethnic Minority Art Performance is expected to take place over two days with the theme of praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, praising the love for the homeland and country and the fine traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities.

The festival has the participation of 10 mountainous districts and towns including: Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Con Cuong, Que Phong, Quy Chau, Quy Hop, Nghia Dan, Anh Son, Tan Ky and Thai Hoa town. The summary and award ceremony is scheduled to be held on the evening of September 11 at the Nghe An Provincial Labor Culture House.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Viet Hong requested the members of the steering committee to perform well the assigned tasks. In particular, completing the scripts of each content and program early during the congress and art performance.

Regarding logistics, organize the reception and arrange accommodation for delegates thoughtfully, economically and safely. Strictly implement the work of ensuring security, order, as well as health care for delegates attending the congress.

The provincial press agencies have done a good job of promoting the event before, during and after the congress. In addition, departments, branches and localities also need to strengthen coordination to ensure all conditions for the Congress to be successful.
