Ensure the success of the 'Heroic Ben Thuy' art program

On the afternoon of September 6, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee held a working session with relevant units to review the organization of the "Heroic Ben Thuy" Art Program.

The art program "Heroic Ben Thuy" organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces aims to evoke the historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions of the land and people of Nghe An and Ha Tinh; at the same time, reflect the great achievements in the process of socio-economic development, thereby contributing to educating patriotism for the younger generation.

At the meeting, the relevant units reported on the progress of the assigned tasks. By the afternoon of September 6, the basic preparations had been completed, from finalizing the script, arranging the stage, sound, and lighting to practicing the performances, welcoming guests, and arranging seats for the audience. Ensuring power supply, maintaining security and order, traffic safety, and mobilizing service forces had also been fully prepared.

In his directive speech, Mr. Thai Thanh Quy - Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee noted that relevant departments, branches and units continue to review, research and complete plans when bad weather (heavy rain) occurs. The Electricity sector calculates and develops plans to arrange technical staff on duty, ensuring that the program is not affected.

At the same time, relevant agencies need to have a traffic diversion plan to ensure safety and security. “The traffic volume will be very high, estimated at more than 5,000 people, especially at the beginning and after the end of the program. Therefore, it is necessary to have a reasonable traffic diversion plan to avoid congestion in the Ben Thuy bridge area and National Highway 1A” – the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized.

The program will take place at 8:00 p.m. on September 8, 2019 at the foot of Ben Thuy bridge (Nghe An province side).

Through documentary reports, songs, animations, and exchanges with historical witnesses, the art program will recreate the heroic history of the army and people of Nghe An under the Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue insurgent army flag; the spirit of uprising of the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement in 1930 - 1931 and the heroic fighting spirit during the years of destructive war of the US imperialists...
