(Baonghean.vn) - At approximately 4 PM on February 10th, a traffic accident occurred on the Ho Chi Minh Trail section running through Nghia Loc commune, Nghia Dan district (Nghe An province), involving two cars. One person was hospitalized in critical condition.

According to the report, at the time of the incident, a truck carrying sugarcane with license plate 18T - 2459 was traveling from Nghia Dan to Tan Ky when it collided with another sugarcane truck traveling in the same direction at Khe Sai 2 bridge in Nghia Loc commune. After the collision, the sugarcane truck lost control and crashed into the rear of a brick truck with license plate 37S - 5318 traveling in the same direction ahead.

The impact was so strong that the sugarcane truck driver was trapped in the cabin; he was rescued by locals in critical condition.
