Every time it rains, people traveling on Highway 48C, Km 122 + 200, have difficulty crossing the river in the middle of the road. Although it is called a highway, when it rains, this section turns into a river. The flooded section is more than 30m long, with the deepest part being half a meter. It is very difficult for motorbikes, bicycles, and cars to pass through here, and it is not uncommon for the floodwaters to cause the engine to stall.
It is worth mentioning that after each heavy rain, it takes more than a day for the water to drain completely. Each time there are objects stuck in the drain holes, the floodwaters become higher. Many people have stopped their vehicles to try to clear the drain holes, but it is just a drop in the ocean.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Ba, residing in Mo Than village, Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong district, was upset: "There is only this section of road, but for several years people have complained a lot but it has not been repaired. When it rains, passing through here is no different than groping in the stream."

Talking to reporters, Mr. Tran Khac Truong - Head of Khe Bo Road Management Department said that the unit has sent many documents to superiors about the above phenomenon, but because there has not been an agreement on compensation for the above road section, the drainage system has not been built yet. "Heavy rain causes flooding, sometimes even motorbikes cannot go" - Mr. Truong said.
