(Baonghean.vn) - Residents of Hamlet 12, Thanh Tien Commune (Thanh Chuong District) said they have had to witness sand bandits stripping the Lam River for nearly ten years, but authorities have yet to thoroughly handle the situation.

Faced with the rampant sand bandits causing many consequences to life, and the authorities failing to handle the issue thoroughly, the people of Thanh Tien commune had to find a solution to build bamboo fences to prevent sand dredgers from docking in the area near residential areas. However, this is only a temporary solution.
