"The Moc Family Story" tells the true and tearful stories of Mr. Moc's family. Not wanting his daughter to continue the hard life of farming, he was determined to send her to the city to prepare for the university entrance exam.

Director Tran Luc was introduced to artist Hai Diep by his father - People's Artist Tran Bang - to invite him to play this role. Before that, Hai Diep had only played roles on the Cheo stage, but his quick wit helped him play the role of farmer Moc in a natural and lively way. Artist Hai Diep also portrayed a father who loved his son very much, even though because of that love, the two fathers encountered many funny and sad scenes when they "packed up" and went to the city to study for the exam.

Actress Nhu Trang plays Mai - Mr. Moc's daughter. Nhu Trang was invited to act in the film when she had just graduated as valedictorian of the University of Theatre and Cinema. Trang plays a country girl, naive, studious, obsessed with exams to the point of delirium. After going to the city to study, the girl quickly gets rid of her innocence. She also surprised her parents when she sent a letter home announcing that she had married her boyfriend.

Nhu Trang got married in 2005 and has two children. She is currently an actress in Theater Group II of the Youth Theater.

Actor Chi Nghia plays Dung - Mr. Moc's son-in-law. When Mr. Moc heard that his daughter got married in the city and came to visit, he also learned that they were separated. While staying at his daughter's house to find out the situation, he and his son-in-law got along so well that they went to karaoke together. Chi Nghia's role as a carefree son-in-law who respected his father-in-law was loved by many people.

After "Chuyen nha Moc", Chi Nghia participated in the program "O nha chu nhat" but soon left the program to study at the National Economics University and the University of Theatre and Cinema, Faculty of Directing. He currently lives in Ho Chi Minh City and works in communications. In the photo, he took a photo with actress Thu Huong.

Actor Quoc Tuan plays a supporting role as a neighbor in the apartment complex of Mr. Moc's daughter and her husband. When Mr. Moc moves to a new city, he starts a conversation with his neighbor named Thanh. Quoc Tuan shows his humor when playing the role of a husband who is afraid of his wife but always has to keep up appearances in front of his neighbors.

Quoc Tuan is over 50 years old. He currently works at Vietnam Feature Film Studio. The actor has gone through a difficult time in his life.

Xuan Bac played the role of Mr. Moc's daughter's lover when they were still in the countryside. Xuan Bac was once grabbed and beaten by Mr. Moc when he hid behind a wall, pretending to make gecko noises to date his daughter while she was studying. The actor soon showed his talent for comedy with a scene where he ran around the village shouting with joy because he thought his girlfriend had failed the university entrance exam.

After 18 years, Xuan Bac has become a famous comedian and MC. He has a happy family with two sons.
