Villagers surrounded the woman who led the 'army' to destroy her ex-husband's house.
Knowing that Mr. Kinh's house was being vandalized by 9 people, the villagers rang the alarm bell and blocked all the roads.
At around 6pm on July 15th in Yen Thinh commune (Huu Lung district, Lang Son), a group of 9 people in 3 cars broke into the house of Hoang Van Kinh (34 years old). Unable to find the homeowner, the crowd smashed the furniture.
Discovering the incident, the villagers sounded the alarm and surrounded the people. When the authorities arrived, two cars were overturned in the field. The other car was turned sideways on the road. Some people involved were detained by the villagers and handed over to the police.

On the morning of July 17, the leader of Yen Thinh Commune People's Committee confirmed that the cause originated from a conflict between Mr. Kinh and his ex-wife. "Fortunately, Mr. Kinh was not at home that night so he escaped," the commune leader said. Mr. Kinh's ex-wife had brought someone to take the two children away, but Mr. Kinh did not agree, leading to an argument.
The leader of Huu Lung District Police said that this morning they will continue to take statements from those involved to clarify the cause and how to handle the incident.
