At the awards ceremony for the 9th National Journalism Award on Party Building, named "Golden Hammer and Sickle," held on the evening of January 20, 2025, General Secretary To Lam assessed: Through nine editions, the Award has increasingly affirmed its prestige, stature, and demonstrated the professional maturity and political acumen of professional and non-professional journalists writing on the topic of Party building. Journalists have truly taken responsibility and immersed themselves in the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system, reflecting and analyzing in a diverse and rich manner all aspects of Party building work, in all types of grassroots Party organizations, across the country.

It is a source of pride that over the past nine seasons, Nghe An Newspaper has made its mark with many outstanding works that have been honored since the first season. From works such as "Strengthening the Political System in Special Regions" (B Prize), "A Strong Party is Due to Good Party Branches", "The Role of Cadres and Party Members in Cyberspace" (C Prize) to the recent "Innovating the Party's Leadership Methods: Lessons from Vivid Practice" (Outstanding Specialized Work Award 2024), Nghe An Newspaper has demonstrated its solid theoretical capacity, sharp critical thinking skills, and close connection with the practical aspects of Party building at the grassroots level.

Also in 2024, the newspaper was honored to receive a collective commendation for its innovative media products, demonstrating the pioneering role of a local Party newspaper in political communication. From the work "Close-up of the Flood-stricken Area" (C prize - 2010) to high awards at the 2023 National Journalism Awards such as: "Giving is Forever" (B prize), "Green Economy: An Inevitable Trend" and "The Danger of Pneumoconiosis" (C prize), Nghe An Newspaper has demonstrated its professional working capacity, sensitivity to current events and rich humanistic values.

At the "Dien Hong" Award – a journalism award for articles about the National Assembly and People's Councils – Nghe An Newspaper has won awards for three consecutive years (2022–2024). Notable examples include: "Deserving to be an elected representative," "Innovating the activities of elected bodies for the goal of development," and "Special Resolution: Overcoming the narrow 'mechanism'." These works not only incisively reflect the supervisory and representative role of elected representatives but also contribute to encouraging institutional reform and improving the effectiveness of local governance.

At the 2024 "For the Cause of National Unity" award, two works from the newspaper also left their mark: "Gathering and Building National Unity in the 4.0 Era" (B prize) and "Reconciliation at the Grassroots Level: Timely, Addressing the Roots, Turning Big Problems into Small Problems" (C prize), clearly reflecting the humanistic depth, topicality, and modern expressive capabilities of the journalistic team.

From 2017 to 2025, the newspaper won 63 provincial-level journalism awards (including 9 first prizes) and 56 provincial-level "Golden Hammer and Sickle" awards (10 first prizes).
