The Party Committees of Chau Loc and Quynh Tam communes held their congresses for the 2025-2030 term.

August 19thChau Loc Commune Party CommitteeThe Party Committee organized its first Party Congress, for the term 2025-2030. The Party Committee was formed from the merger of the Party Committees of Chau Loc commune and Lien Hop commune.

Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - attended and delivered a speech at the Congress. The Congress was attended by 205 official delegates, representing 503 party members throughout the Provincial Party Committee.

With the motto "Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development," the Congress unanimously agreed on the overall goal for the 2025-2030 term: building Chau Loc commune into a rapidly and sustainably developing area. To achieve this goal, the Congress identified three breakthroughs: Building a team of cadres and Party members with strong political acumen, high moral character, and a high sense of responsibility; A breakthrough in building a synchronous rural infrastructure, effectively exploiting mineral resources, especially white stone, shifting from raw extraction to deep processing; A breakthrough in administrative reform, applying information technology and digital transformation to improve management efficiency and the quality of service to the people and businesses.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi suggested that the Chau Loc Commune Party Committee should focus on building unity and cohesion throughout the Party Committee; strive to develop into a modern, efficient, and sustainable mineral processing center, while strictly managing resources and protecting the environment. In addition, it is necessary to leverage the advantages of forest land, making forestry a key economic sector, and building a raw material area for high-tech processing.

Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi also suggested directions for developing community-based ecotourism associated with preserving and promoting the unique cultural values ​​of the Thai and Tho ethnic groups. At the same time, he emphasized the need to continue focusing on the comprehensive development of education, healthcare, sustainable poverty reduction, and national defense and security. Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi expressed his confidence and hope that Chau Loc commune, with renewed determination and effort, will make solid progress, successfully achieving the goals set forth in the Congress Resolution, and becoming one of the bright spots in the Northwest region of Nghe An province.

Attending and directing the Congress were Comrade Le Truong Giang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Organization Department, and leaders from various provincial departments and agencies.

Quynh Tam commune was established by merging three communes: Quynh Tam, Quynh Chau, and Tan Son. Currently, the commune has an area of ​​103.4 km², a population of 35,568 people; and 55 grassroots Party organizations with 1,125 Party members.

With a spirit of innovation, strong character, and high political determination, the First Congress of the Party Committee of Quynh Tam Commune set the following general goals for the 2025-2030 term: To continue to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization; the effectiveness and efficiency of the government's management and administration; to promote the role of the Fatherland Front and other political and social organizations; to accelerate administrative reform and build an administration that serves the people; to achieve rapid and sustainable development in all fields, with industry linked to services as the foundation, trade as the spearhead, and digital transformation and the application of modern science and technology as the breakthrough. The commune aims to achieve advanced New Rural Area standards by 2030.

Delivering a guiding speech at the Congress, Comrade Le Truong Giang - Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Organization Department - requested the Party Committee of Quynh Tam commune to focus on building the Party well, continuing to innovate leadership methods, improving the management capacity of the Party committee and government, thereby strengthening unity and cohesion within the Party committee with the spirit of "One locality - one vision - one action - one belief".

The Party Committee of the commune needs to effectively implement the Central Committee's resolutions on Party building and rectification, in conjunction with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style. It should effectively implement breakthrough initiatives, concretize the resolutions, and create strong momentum to drive Quỳnh Tam's rapid and sustainable development based on leveraging the local potential and advantages.
