A woman stopped her car to fill up with gas when a man on a motorbike approached her and snatched her handbag containing valuables worth hundreds of millions of dong.
Binh Thanh District Police, Ho Chi Minh City are temporarily detaining suspect Dang Quoc Vuong (born 1992, residing locally) to investigate and handle the act of "property robbery".

According to initial information, at 9:00 p.m. on November 6, a 16-seat car stopped in front of a gas station on Dien Bien Phu Street, Ward 21, Binh Thanh District to fill up with gas.
At that time, there was a woman sitting in the car waiting for the driver. Suddenly, suspect Vuong drove his motorbike close, grabbed the woman's handbag containing her belongings, then quickly accelerated and escaped. The robbery happened so quickly that no one had time to intervene or chase her.

At the police station, the victim reported that the stolen handbag contained many types of gold and silver jewelry, 2 cell phones, 9 million VND in cash and a savings book worth 210 million VND.
Immediately after receiving the report, the police took statements from the victim and witnesses and extracted camera images around the scene, recording the characteristics of the perpetrator.
Realizing that the suspect was hiding near the scene, the police force spread out in many directions to arrest him. Just 15 minutes later, the police arrested Vuong in an alley on Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street, Ward 21, Binh Thanh District, along with the vehicle used to commit the crime and the handbag containing the stolen property.
Initially, Vuong admitted all his actions.
